Paladin himself, Richard Boone stars in this low key, low budget horror film. He plays a proprietor of a cemetery who has a map of all the sold and unsold cemetery plots. He uses white pins to indicate open plots and black pins for plots containing dead bodies. When he accidentally puts a black pin in an open spot, the owner of the plot dies. Of course when no one believes him, he tries it out on them. Despite being hampered by a contrived plot device, director Albert (Ghoulies 2) Band provides some atmospheric moments, but the film is ultimately too one-note to be all that involving. It would have made a decent episode of The Twilight Zone, but it can’t sustain much interest at a feature length. The twist ending doesn’t do it any favors either.
