In the third Roger Corman produced Edgar Allan Poe flick, Ray Milland is obsessed with being buried alive. He builds a cool crypt filled with numerous escape roots just in case. As the film goes on, he gets crazier and crazier. Is someone trying to drive him mad? Though this Poe adaptation lacks the presence of Vincent Price, Milland is good and Corman creates a lot of atmosphere (and a lot of fake fog). Look fast for Dick Miller as a grave robber.
