When Griffin (Jay Underwood) was a little boy, a serial killer called the Sandman murdered his parents. 17 years later, the Sandman is executed, but comes back as a man literally made out of sand. He can turn himself into sand and come through keyholes, and create mini-sandstorms. Basically he’s like Jack Frost but with sand. He can be stopped with water or sunlight and turns into glass when burned. He also says things like “Time for bed!” and “Hush little baby!”, so he pretty much wears out his welcome fast. There’s also only so much reversed footage of sand coming out of doors, walls and grates you can take in one movie. With Marc (Superman) McClure as Griffin’s dad, Ken (Dawn of the Dead) Foree as a cop and a fake version of Metallica’s Enter Sandman.
