An innocent girl gets caught up with the wrong crowd and after inadvertently rolling a drunk; she along with her femme fatale friend are thrown in a juvenile facility known as “an industrial school”. Their gang breaks them out and they hole up at an old couple’s house where they take the Bible reading family hostage during Thanksgiving. It all ends with a shootout at the Griffith Park Observatory (a big place for delinquents in 1955 after Rebel Without a Cause). This low key low budget juvenile delinquent potboiler suffers from a claustrophobic setting and bad acting. Screenwriter Harry Essex also wrote The Creature from the Black Lagoon.
