Pia Degermark stars as a movie star who inherits an old castle that neighbors a monastery. She takes pleasure in flashing a monk who in the film’s funniest scene runs off to the woods where everything reminds him of sex! She also has a torture dungeon in the basement and imagines naked women being tortured. She stupidly revives her vampire ancestor (also Degermark in a black wig) who bites the monk and when he rises from the grave he bites some young Catholic school girls. It all ends with a lame vampire convention (or “happening”) where Dracula (Ferdy Mayne) flies in on his “Batcopter”. There’s a good amount of nudity and Degermark looks great naked, but that’s the only thing this incredibly dated and silly horror comedy is good for. Director Freddie Francis also directed Craze. Mayne was also in the much better The Fearless Vampire Killers.
